Refund Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
Here's how refunds work at OpenStand. The short version: the money in your balance is yours, and you can get the unspent part back. Anything you've already unlocked is yours to keep and isn't refundable.
Your unspent balance is refundable
The money you add to your OpenStand balance is your money. We hold it for you to spend on unlocks — we don't earn anything on it while it sits there. If you'd like it back, just ask. We'll refund your full unspent balance, with no fees or deductions, to your original payment method.
We refund to the original payment method only. This keeps the process secure and protects against fraud.
Unlocked pieces are not refundable
When you unlock a piece, it's delivered to your permanent library and stays there. Because you've received it, an unlock can't be refunded. That permanence is the whole idea behind OpenStand — what you unlock is genuinely yours to keep.
One rare exception: if the law ever forces us to remove a piece you own — for example, a valid copyright takedown — we return what you paid for it. See our Content Policy.
How to request a refund
Email us at support@openstand.co from the address on your account, and tell us you'd like to refund your balance. That's it. We'll handle the rest.
How long it takes
We'll process your request within 5 business days. Once we do, the refund is sent back to your original payment method, and how quickly it appears depends on your bank or card provider — usually a few business days.
